Tried ChatGPT, Gemini & more—here’s my no-fluff breakdown of each AI tool.
Over the past year, I’ve regularly switched between ChatGPT, Gemini, You.com, DeepSeek, and a few others. Each tool has its strengths—and quirks. Here’s my no-fluff breakdown of how they perform in the real world 👇
✅ Super polished, great at reasoning, powerful tools
❌ Can still over-explain or “hallucinate” confidently
📌 Best for: Deep thinking, writing, idea generation, and productivity workflows
✅ Lightning fast, integrates beautifully with Google Docs & Gmail, solid on facts
❌ Not the best for creative tasks, and the UI could use a facelift
📌 Best for: Summarising documents, handling Google Workspace tasks, and quick info checks
✅ Live web access is a win, and multi-source answers come in handy
❌ Feels cluttered and less refined
📌 Best for: Research, comparisons, and staying updated with the latest information
✅ Surprisingly strong at dev tasks and Chinese–English translation
❌ UX is clunky and responses can be hit-or-miss
📌 Best for: Developers and technical problem-solving
For me, it’s still ChatGPT with GPT-4 Turbo 👑.
The memory, ecosystem, and tool integrations make it incredibly powerful.
But here’s the thing—the right AI is the one that fits your workflow.
Try them. Break them. Mix them.
That’s how you find your perfect AI companion.
Your AI. Your rules. 🔧🙂
